Hi. My name is Alicia Reid and I’m the Assistant Director of StarPoint Home Care. Every day, people entrust us to care for their loved ones, and that is a responsibility I take very seriously. In my role, I am responsible for training and managing StarPoint’s full team of caregivers. But what really drives me are the personal connections I have with our seniors. I like to say our hearts beat for our clients, and it’s true! The human interaction and the relationships we develop are what makes this kind of work so fulfilling and special.

It’s extremely reassuring to know that my mother has, not just help, but company. Lovely, caring people who are her companions and friends, Mom’s aides have become a really important part of her life over the time that they've been helping her.

We arranged through Jewish Family Service to have StarPoint Home Care help me out. I'm very thankful that I was put in touch with [Assistant Director of StarPoint] Alicia Reid. We met on the phone quite a bit. I would tell my son David, what they were doing for me and he was very happy for me that I could get back on my feet with the help of StarPoint Home Care and Jewish Family Service.
